The Vikings and Broncos are definitely wrong analogies for AMD. They each got to the SB four times before Denver got there a fifth time and won. Some say getting there is half of it. Last I looked, AMD is about a tenth Intel in revenues and a fiftieth in market cap. That doesn't get to the SB.

AMD analogous to a minor league baseball team, A, maybe double A.
