mr.mark and thread

PC Webopedia is also a great place to find the meaning of acronyms, terms and all the computer related tech talk you could imagine. It provides a simple definition if that is all you want or you can follow the numerous links that will take you as deep into the subject as you want. Great source of information!

My tip of the week: Speed up your Mouse!

Go to Control Panel/Mouse, Motion tab, set Pointer Speed to fast. Takes a while to get used to but why not be fast?

Also, in Control Panel/Keyboard Properties, Speed Tab, adjust Repeat Rate up a bit. I have it at about 3/4--much more satisfying <g>.

Here's another one that just can't wait: Don't you wish that you could keep a small window "on top" sometimes for reference as you are copying something from it or whatever...? This is a free app that lets you do just that: Winpins:

geocities.com

(Get Winpins 2.2, not the Christian Calendar--unless you like it, of course)
