I Know Nada ========================================================== January 7, 1999 GT Interactive Threat Continues Assimilation Imminent As Company Approaches Earth GT Interactive has announced the acquisition of developer Legend Entertainment in a calculated move to take over all game companies in the known universe. Currently located on the outskirts of the solar system and rocketing straight towards the planet Earth, GT Interactive declared that Legend's distinctiveness will be added to their own. "We are delighted to become a part of the GT family," proclaimed new drone and former Legend chairman, Michael Verdu, "All hail our new masters!" While being fitted for his new cybernetic implants, Verdu noted that "We've been working with GT for the last year on a new generation of products and this acquisition is a natural extension of that relationship." Mr. Verdu will soon be renamed "Three of Nine Tertiary Quotient Assemblage Intelligence Unit" when his current identity is erased. Upon the order of their new overlord, Legend is currently developing Unreal II as well as an Unreal Level Pack. Due to the acquisition by GT, the next Xanth adventure is sure to use the Unreal engine. For more news on the coming invasion, stick with PCXL.
