"This us against them bickering and cries of manipulation etc are purely silly."

I understand why you would say that and probably 90% of conspiracy theories tossed around internet bulletin boards are silly unfounded speculation. But it is equally silly IMHO to say conspiracies never exist and that nothing illegal ever happens. It is also naive to believe that the internet is not powerful enough to use as a tool either to hype or to trash a company. I think your fine line between black and white should be replaced with a thick gray line.

The following post certainly is evidence that bad things do happen in this market.

I have no idea what has happened with Osicom, maybe it's nothing more than a poorly run and share dilutive company that was a bad investment. On the other hand, I harbor suspicions of just about everyone involved in this stock, from shorts to longs to the management. A lot of goofy stuff has happened over the last two years which I don't fully understand. But our own Anthony here is quite connected on wall street and he posts and is followed by many on SI. He also provided a BW reporter with a second hand story from an associate who told him of Barry Witz trying to push FIBR stock on him in some fraudulent scheme. Now recently Anthony posts about a subpeona Par supposedly recieved from drug money laundering. All at the same time a lot of folks decide to go short. Ok you could say folks are short based on FIBR's lofty price alone, but all of these things occuring together seem more than coincidental. Now maybe a conspiracy theory is a stretch, but silly would be to say that it's "impossible".
