Another thought for the Thread to debate.

CPQ keeps AV as an integral part of e-commerce solutions per Option 2 indicated in El's article.

A couple of weeks ago CPQ pulled in their horns on a dedicated focus on network business. This past week, CSCO announced a desire to focus on home network development. Both companies provide complimentary hardware required to completely build out a network. Throw in AV and such a combination has the complete, "click-to-click," package for an e-commerce infrastructure. CPQ can help CSCO get into the consumer market and CSCO can compliment CPQ in business/enterprise network build-out.

Thus, CPQ and CSCO announce a strategic alliance or some kind of fortified partnership the 27th along with CPQ's 4th Qtr and year-end earnings. CPQ's recent run up has taken into account anticipated strong 4Q results. Both, CPQ and CSCO get a boost from a joint announcement and then CPQ follows CSCO's coattails when CSCO announces their 2 Qtr. results the following week. The combined companies PLUS AV present a total and completely unmatchable (is that a word??) e-commerce solution.

Any thoughts? JMO as something I would look at if I were the Field Marshall.
