I think the issue is market risk. Yes these stocks will do well over time. But if you have to pay for your lift tickets(I understand that Ski Patrollers don't pay) and if you have "pressed" with margin then it may be time to cut back. I don't think anyone knows what will happen in the market. These companies were doing fine back in Sept and Oct when they were selling for 25% of their present valuation. If you don't know then shorting is a bad bet as well as "pressing".So I have a lightening plan. Yes I believe these are good stocks which will do very well and I will keep a significant position but us "grey hairs" have to keep reserves around in case we are wrong in our beliefs. Or as I read in the good book :Yes Lord, I believe, Please help my Unbelief. Going to Schweitzer soon, my friend chose Steamboat. Whats your choice?
