It can't fail. People have no choice.

95/98 and NT 4.0 will be phased out. NT 5.0 will be the only choice. What else are they gonna due. run linux or beos which can't run their apps??? Doubtful.... I imagine it will sell more copies than 95 in its first year.....

Yup, I agree. I'll even go stronger. There may be a paradigm
shift, and in fact free market dynamics make it highly
likely at some point. But it ain't gonna happen between now
and Win 2000, not even if Win 2000 happens in 2001.
