This is the thread I've been waiting for.

I am more concerned about the hype and sensationalism that will precede Y2K than I am about the event itself. I've done some preliminary research on companies that might benefit from a Y2K panic. Gillette and Honda both make generators, but obviously, neither is a pure play. Some other ideas are Rayovac (ROV), Campbells (CPB), and Tupperware (TUP). None of these look very attractive to me. I would love to hear some other ideas.
