The word "Vancouver" alone is enough to keep me wary of this one. Strange internet strategy per PR to try to establish search engines for local cities and region. From a resale/consumer perspective the "power of the net" is that it ISN'T local or regional. Consumers can shop wherever the best prices are for goods and have them shipped to their doors. From a "yellow page" perspective, this search engine doesn't appear to me, at least, to be offering anything "new" or unique. Knight Ridder's Real Cities already seems to serve the same function for "yellow page" for cities and regions. See 209.143.231.219 bottomdollar.com Bottomdollar seems like a really interesting site and search tool...don't know much about them though and whether or not they intend to go public. The "WelcomeTo" webpage though has a lot of pretty pictures. Those pictures must count for something. ztect PS.
