Saddam is obviously a very important man cause the US makes such a fuss over him. That's what I mean when I say he's the creation of the American military/media etc. hmmmm...... And I thought it was because he constantly threatened or invaded his neighbors,.... bought Nuclear reactor technology from the French in order to build a nuclear weapon,..... (bombed by the Israelis in 1982) attempted to build a "supergun" based upon Gerald Bull's "peacemaker" technology (and aimed at Israel),.... and used Chemical and biological weapons against helpless Kurdish villages..... and built up the world's 4th largest army in the world equipped with thousands of tanks and million man army, even though his country's population only numbered some 16 million. Thanks for the clarification. I must restudy my history of Nazi Germany as well... Chamberlain's speech at Munich may deserve a completely new reading. Regards, Ron
