Probably they aren't all that familiar with THQ's trading patterns.

It's kind of funny how this board and the Yahoo board are taking this decline in stride, whereas there's some real gnashing of the teeth on the Fool.

Here's what I found encouraging in the 8-K--

<<and we will share equally any profits generated by
this
joint venture after we each recover the advances we pay to Titan.

The license agreement with Titan permits the joint venture to
release its first WWF game after November 16, 1999. We expect that the
first
game produced under this license will be released in late 1999. The
term of the
license agreement expires on December 31, 2009, but the joint venture
has the
right to renew the license for an additional five years under certain
conditions.>>

Ie, for any who didn't know, it proves that THQ has no extra expenses that JAKK doesn't, besides the small loan. And even shows that THQ has a good shot at an even longer license than the original ten years.

Anyway, I've got no worries about the first three quarters of 1999. They will show good revenue and profit growth and I'm sure the WCW-pct. of Q2 will be very manageable. I also bet that Q3 will show good growth over 1998's, even if one took out the WCW income.

As for Q4, 1999, we just have to wait for E3 before we'll have a good picture of how it will turn out.

S&P futures up three as I write this. We're possibly heading into another strong week on the market. We should also see plenty of Thunder promos in the weekend advertising supplements.

Marc

Perhaps they had other fish to fry.... Internet stocks have been hot afterall. Why does anyone sell now? Some certainly think it a good idea.
