ok lets just assume that you are using mirc or pirch ... when you click on icon and the client opens up you will have somewhere there small window which is for what net you are to be connected that one have to have EFNET writen in it , there it will be there some other small window and there are on pull down menu listed servers ... look for irc.anet-chi.com it is a server iv chicago area ... or for irc.cifnet.com when you have that you have to filed in a nick name of you choice and your e-mail ( that one you can write what ever you want as long as it is in an e-mail format trilobyte@sowhere.net ) after you have that try to connect again ... if this doesn't work let me know what was the message in the window ..ok ??? tlb
