The Market Display rules do NOT require odd lots to be displayed to the market.

Maybe you can help or someone else out there

I requested a wire 12/31/98, still not cleared my account but DATEK account shows the amount cleared.

How long does this take these days. The last wire out I requested was cleared the following day, so the wire details are correct.

Kinda scary

Bill

Maybe I can help clear this odd lot stuff up for you guys. Odd lots do not show up on level II unless they are over 100 share increments. If you are filled on ISLD for an odd lot size and the the next ISLD (not the market makers) bid or ask has moved up or down to the next level then the rest of your ISLD order is automatically cancelled, filled or not, end of story. I use ISLD and SOES exclusively to trade with and these partial fills are a minor problem with direct access to the markets. I assume it can be a bit more of a problem with Datek if it takes you a minute or two to execute another order. Overall you can't beat ISLD for speed and liquidity in most Nasdaq stocks.
