Jim -
If only 25 million PC have been sold this quarter where are those 33 million processors going?

Some possible answers -
1 - they are going into 2-processor and 4-processor systems, which are making up a larger share of the overall mix.
2 - the estimate of 25 million PCs is low

I'm sure there are other possibilities. Maybe there's still time to adjust your strategy so you don't actually lose money.

Jim, TA is not an exact science. It is like anything else. NASA can schedule Columbia to go to the moon but they can't guarantee Americans that it will get there safe or that it will even take off at all. However, the odds that it will make it are very darn good like over 99.99% chance of making it without problems. TA is the same thing, no 100% guarantee anymore then a Doctor can guarantee a patient a 100% success in a surgery in advance. However, a doctor can give a patient 80% guarantee that the surgery will succeed based on statistic. The same is true for TA. Odds are not on your side and even if we find out later that you are right that won't mean much. Odds are over 70% to 80% DELL is going down to around 40 and very quickly once it breaks to the downside of the wedge. Odds are over 90% CPQ will get to 57 very soon. Pennants are the most reliable TA pictures. These TA statistics are taken from charts in the stock market dating all the way back to 1929. These charts work!! You want to argue with them then be my guest!

I bought SUNW at 57.50 and told the SUNW thread that it was going to a minimum of 73 and more likely 88 in less then two months because SUNW created an Ascending Triangle. People were heading for the exit at that time and were surprised by my prediction. People who shorted SUNW argued my head off and lost every single time. SUNW reached 88 in two months and people on the SUNW are now telling me that I was right all along. When it comes to TA and to the stock market overall, it is the long run that counts. The law of averages is on my side and not yours specially in this case. You have 20% to 30% chance of surviving the Upside Wedge in DELL. Do you really want to risk it!!?? The Pennant for CPQ already broke to the upside so since I have been on this thread people who owned CPQ should have made some money. There is 90% to 95% chance that CPQ will make a minimum of 57. If the picture changes then i will be the first to know and I will warn people about it just like I have warned you so far.

Good luck and don't forget the box of Kleenex,

Christopher
