Great post. You raise the point which goes right to the heart of the matter...portals make their money from advertisers. When was the last time you clicked on, or even looked at an ad?! They are measuring advertising success with click-through rates and hit counts. Man are they in for a surprise when they realize the emperor wears no clothes!
