Paul - RE: "Now they will just put out 25% MORE HEAT !"

You keep talking about increased heat, but didn't processors made on the .35 process generate even more heat?

If OEMs could handle 2.9 and 3.2 volts, who says they can't handle 2.3?

Re: "sold to unsuspecting customers as a 450 MHz device - WHAT A SHAM!"

Is it a 450 MHz device?

If it is, it's not a sham--anyway, it's a foregone conclusion at this point that AMD will produce these chips, so why continue to cry about it?

re : Paul....who loves AMD's Overclocked/Over Voltage 400 MHz K6-2 - sold to unsuspecting customers as a 450 MHz device - WHAT A SHAM !

Ehm paul..I won't disagree that that could be exactly what amd is doing, but do i recall a certain type of cpu, called the "pentium 150" at a mere 3,3 volts ? what was the next type of cpu brought out at wich voltage ? Paul !! dont let me down !! noooooooo

it was the 166 MHz at 3,5 volts

why would intel do that for, paul ?!

I am really amazed you could all do this by yourself, pauleron!
