Well, that makes a little sense, but AAPL has had a 4 quarter (soon to be 5?) history of beating estimates. I would imagine this will continue for some time.
I know they're trying to minimize this, but....Jobs isn't about to be happy just MEETING expectations. He knows he has to blow them away.

The operating earnings for last quarter were .68 diluted. Yahoo as well as other sites state this. The .74 figure may be either basic (undiluted) EPS or may factor in one-time charges/income. . .
