I work at a public agency with about 2,000 PCs. As new PCs are purchased the older ones are passed down. As such, we have quite a few which are running Windows 3.x which are being replaces this year to solve the y2k problem as well as other problems with the older machines. I suspect many firms are reassessing their entire systems as part of the y2k issue and will be purchasing new PCs. For business use this will of course be the top line units.

Stitch;

Thank you. I wasn't aware of the software problem. Since I am an Apple freak Windows is not of great interest. I would have thought that Microsoft would have update its software many years ago. I always knew that Windows 95 was buggy but I didn't think it had that bug.
