Crash is a very strong term to use. I would say we may see corrections from time to time. Corrections of between 20-30%. Thats a 100 point drop on YHOO! But the stock would still rebound and move up....slowly at least.

I think that some people on here have some very good insight on where AMZN SHOULD go. According to The Guru, on the AMZN thread, Duetche Bank is a holder of a very large amount of AMZN stock. If what he says is true, It is very possible that there could be a very large shift in price should they decide to liquidate their position quickly. Who knows if what he says is true but it is enough for me to stay away from AMZN.(At least on the long side)

I DO think I will be a player of YHOO on this spilt though.

no advise here.... just opinion !

Where will money go into if Net stocks crash? The top net stocks like YHOO, IMHO. I wanted to buy some YHOO at 91, but I thought it was overvalued, so when it dropped from 90 to 59 on that memorable -500 Dow day in the end of August, I jumped in gleefully. I later cashed out my investment and some nice profits and am riding the balance. If I have another opportunity to get YHOO on sale at 33% off, I'll do it again (while adding to core positions like CSCO, WCOM, etc.)

<<I hope you are correct, I hope they never crash and I keep making a ton of money on YHOO and AOL. But for the people that think the Nets will crash, I would like to get their opinion on where they think the money will go if it does happen. >>

An analyst on CNBC used the term "money heaven".
It doesn't "go" anywhere.
If the stock crashes, the money no longer exists.
