As a brand new SI member, I'd like to say that I would hate to see you go. I've spent countless hours pouring over many of these threads and I especially like the quality of the info posted here on your thread.

Tim
Listen dont take what I say wrong but I am going to
say it anyway.
DON'T LET THE BASTARDS GET YOU DOWN
Tim, you can't save the world.
You are only a guy who has a talent in a certain
area. Now you want to leave because of someone else
on SI.
Man you are better than that.
Stand up man.
I have lost every dime I have in this world and then some
in the market. But you no what it was my fault.
I and you can do one of two things.
Stand up and let it make better people of us or, we can
put our heads between our legs and whine off into the sunset.
I choose to stand my ground.
I think I know you Tim.
SI needs people like you and you need people like us on SI.
You need friends.

I am sorry for this post but I can't stand to see someone
give up.
dawg

Tim,

I know you care about the people here, but you can do far more to help by staying and contributing than leaving.

SI is NOT to blame. Perhaps you want them to improve the monitoring of activities, but no-one wants thought-police here. Continue to expose the abuses. Offer advice based upon your 9+ years of trading, but don't leave. If you left, we'd have no one to pick on!

Tim,

Please don't leave. You are an asset to SI members. I agree what goes on over at some of the other threads is shameless and inexcusable but
you have managed to keep your thread clean and free of this sort of thing.

Why do you go over to that 'other thread' if it bothers you so much?
Just do your thing and now that SI has been made aware of the problem hopefully they will get a handle on controlling it.

Anyway just my opinion...if you go you will be surely missed by many,
including myself.

Whatever you do, all the best.

Caroline

Tim,

Don't go all or nothing on SI. Consider keeping SI as a place you post once in a while, and this will help you attract a client base for you new web site on a continuous basis.

I don't post very often, but I have made a very nice return on your picks. I don't play them all, but your picks get the highest percentage of play and always my fullest consideration.

I have very mixed emotions about these people that lose everything by following the advice offered here on SI and at Yahoo blindly. A person should not abandon the basics of investing and put all their eggs in one basket.

What I do not understand is how you feel that departing SI will improve this situation. There are many good threads here, but to lose yours would be a major loss.

Tim, I've never posted on your thread before ...

just let me say that I appreciate what you and other professionals add to SI. However, please consider that if you resign then the a**holes will win!!! If all the good guys get disgusted and leave, they will have a default victory. I don't follow you or your picks, but respect what you do. Don't let the idiots of the world gain control. I recognize that you spend a lot hours on these issues and can get frustrated by the idiots, but don't let them win by default. Appreciate and understand that this is their game plan.

Tim: Please reconsider. If every credible person leaves, then the field is left to twits and scams. Your efforts are appreciated by the vast majority of people here. Don't let the bozos take over. M2

Tim,

I just found your thread and would be sorry to see you go.

For myself, having been introduced to the art of the stock fraud through SI, I don't blame SI for one second.

The individual who falls for a scam is naive, and there's nothing SI can do about that. The only cure for naivte is experience. Having been there, I feel qualified to say that.

I hope you stay, I've been enjoying the read.
