Actually, it is good to know that you realize this isn't 1997. Then, AMD, namely Sanders, was full of promises but they had nothing to show. Now, AMD is only one speed grade behind Intel in the desktop arena and one speed grade ahead of Intel in the notebook arena (on Wed.). Even when Intel comes out with their faster notebook chips later in the month AMD will only be one speed grade behind Intel.

Yes Paul, you are right that "This isn't 1997".
