I think the back office transactions will be outsourced, but not the back office it self.

Think of how payroll operates in the US now. Most large companies outsource the payroll "transactions" for a percentage of the total payroll. Ceridian [one of many] then does all of the vacation accrual calculations, sick time, taxe withholdings, etc., but the emloyer still has the money.

Just my guess.
