Kash,

Where did you grow up that you consider the Valley stinks.

I'm from New Mexico, Arizona, Texas and Colorado. The land of clean air and wide open spaces.

If you view Silicon Valley traffic lights as being latches, they all close (turn red) right before the data (cars) arrives. If anyone designed a microprocessor that way, they would be out of business in a week. I don't like the traffic, pollution, and general unfriendliness of the valley. Driving over 17 to Santa Cruz this morning, the smog was thick enough to cut with a knife in Los Gatos.

I grew up in jolly old england and the weather, the food etc sucks compared to the bay area.

I attended high school in Abingdon, England and loved the place. I hope to do a sabattical in the UK when the kids get older.
