Good to hear from you, Jach. I was afraid you had given up being the Loyal Opposition. Personally, I think that when the market sees the obscene valuation LU puts on Ascend, they will view csco as undervalued. Hope you're staying warm and dry during the cold Canadian winter. Buying a company that builds routing equipment is disjunct from integrating voice, video and data. There is a significant amount of work involved in creating a seamless (or even "appearingly" seamless) network which integrates voice, data and video. Cisco is years ahead of any competitor hoping to compete in the "New World". Ask Lucent whether all of their PBXs can communicate with one another (I'll save you the effort, the answer is no). Jach; I have yet to see the competitive pressure you mentioned in your post relative to the GigaBit router market. Would you mind providing some relevant links or data to back up your "analysis" ? - Innocent Bystander
