ocmayor,
These are very good questions for Tom to answer. Tom has been up front with us so far.
Until Tom sends his answer, this is my thoughts:
eConnect needs ready cash and wants to give investors an edge by buying directly from the company. Our exposure is limited since the time limit was very short, just until 5:PM today. The investors that will probably take advantage of this offer would be large investors known to Tom and/or Jim Wexler. I hope that the second offering will have a much higher strike price.
It will be interesting in see how many options will be issued and at what price they will start trading. I don't think that an investor can buy 144 shares through an IRA, but they could buy free trading options. Will eConnect report publicly the number of shares that were issued through the offering?
GC, I was surprised that the market cap take into account only the public float; since the total shares issued can be verified, while public float can change more easily.
Go BETT!! Scoobey

To All,
I received this e-mail this morning. Tom wanted to make sure that the market in BETT didn't get off on the wrong foot this morning.
.
Scoobey and Mike,
.
There is no way we will do a secondary offering today!
.
The first step is to raise $1 million as a 504D. That looks very positive in the next few weeks.
.
THEN we have the working capital to start moving BETT towards the
goal of driving in same as cash ATM card transactions, beginning work on the internet Slick and the Pocket Pay, upgrading the Host etc.
.
THEN we can begin licensing arrangements and positioning eConnect as a strong company. By that time, our BETT share value should begin to reflect the fundamentals, and THEN, and not before, we begin to focus on a strong secondary offering with the underwriters taking us out into the market again.
.
One step at a time and only at the proper strategic time.
.
Thanks,
.
GO BETT!
Tom
