Most suppliers are not going to build many RDRAM Rim modules that have less than a 64Mx18 configuration or 8 chips since 64M is the min
size for hi end systems. Very few 32Mx18 Rims will be built unless
some low end system emerges later and the non parity chip version would make it a 32M x 16. my opinion,hope that answers your question.

A 128M RImm would be built at first with 64M or 72M chips(parity)
16 chips, parity initially no parity later organized as 128M x 18 Rim.
Using 128M or 144M chips, it would take half as many.
