Lee, Yes the downloading of more data (say 5 hours of trades vrs 2 hours of trades) necessarily takes more time to do. I have cable modem, but until they "fix" mine I still have the longer download times. The download times don't bother me, because if I had say 10 tickers in one chart window, I open it, and go away, read S.I., read news or whatever. When I NEED a chart I go look and it's done! If that one isn't done I might open a new chart window for that one and that seems to accelerate that one chart's download. Colin
