Joe Battapaglia, Gruntal is the guest host on Squawk Box today. Says that Wal-Mart will crush AMZN when Wal-Mart comes up with their web site. According to him, they have a wide variety of goods whereas AMZN is restricted to books and CDs.

AMZN has brought the stores to the consumers' doorsteps. For Wal-Mart, we have to go to their doorstep. So for Wal-Mart to transform is a big challenge. I think that Wal-Mart model was based on taking merchandise to the rural community just like Sears, via catalog sales. They still filled the order the traditional way. Anyone knows if Wal-Mart has automated warehousing and to what level is it automated? There are some issues here for a company such as Wal-mart to transform overnight. AMZN already has a lead in the Internet sector. So it is a tough call to make how Wal-Mart fits in here and how soon and how effectively they will be able to exploit the Internet.

AOL looking good and YHOO has the street excited today. AMZN trading at 181, pre hours. Maria Bartiromo reporting that Internet stocks can expect to have another explosive week. So let us see. The BULLS on the Internet stocks are still very much alive with the profit makers rearing their heads from time to time and giving the shorts a false sense of comfort
