Report: Bonn Angered About Russian Debt-Rescheduling Plans,/i>

Das ist Schade.... :0(

Funny thing is, if my assessment is correct, in Europe's fervor to generate more acceptance for the Euro, they looked to take on a number of international debts in various regions of the world, predominantly Russia and Latin America.

If I recall the facts correctly, when the the US bailed out Mexico several years back, most of that debt was basically sold off to the Europeans (who thought it nifty way to penetrate those financial markets.)

Better them than us... but again no one in today's financial system gets off scot-free. LTCM has taught us that.

Regards,

Ron
