Not addressed to you in particular, Michael, but to the thread.

Does anyone know how the new law regarding NOL carry-forwards works? In other words, what hoops does an acquiring company have to go through in order to lay its hands on an acquisition's NOL's? Does anyone know of an acquirer who has successfully used an acquisition's NOL's since the new law?

And--a little less relevantly--are the NOL's of an acquisition usable after bankruptcy if the company or discreet parts of it are acquired from the trustee?
