Ben, I went to Fry's yesterday to buy a new HP Pavilion 4450. It has
USB ports, so I'll have to get a USB ZIP soon.<g>

Looking around there were Iomega products in several aisles of the
store. Hardly any other removable disk drives. It reminded me of
shopping for an OS: there is MS Win98, MS NT and ---------------
Red Hat Linux. Iomega really dominates its field almost like
MS dominates OS.

The HP computer manual has a whole chapter on ZIP drives called
"Using the ZIP drive" - as if they were generic. No others are mentioned. The pre-loaded Win98 on the HP PC has "Iomega Tools"
containing 8 programs in it in the Start Menu.

The Fry's salesman paused when I asked about Click! - as if he had not
heard about them before. He said they didn't have any.
At CompUSA I saw 3 Click! and a few disks in a glass case.
No Sony HiFD anywhere.
