I'm wondering if there are any other companies that are playing in this internet/hi-speed/cable niche besides ATHM. I watch the following which are mostly modem cable makers: ATHM (ISP of course) BRCM (chip leader) CSCO (modems) CMTO (modems) MOT (modems, chips?) NT (modems, chips) TERN (Israeli modems) UMG (ISP) Also, here is the web site I got these from: cabledatacomnews.com Personally, I have been staying away from the modem makers assuming there are slim margins in that arena. TERN has done wonderful recently though, so more investigation is prudent. I have ATHM, CSCO, and BRCM, thinking about UMG. -Moose
