CobaltBlue, about the writers... Those are the guru's of the quality revolution sweeping the planet. It may take me a lifetime of learning to truly gather the core of their knowledge. I consider them the great thinkers in management theory and motivation. I'm slowly working on my Masters in "Organizational Leadership and Development". It's a love I have as near to my soul as investing in techstocks.

A good friend of mine is working as a Quality Manager and I look forward to joining him in that profession in 3 or 4 years. There is so much work to be done which would greatly benefit corporate America it's amazing. The problem is so few want to spend the years it takes to truly learn the body of knowledge. We should be teaching statistics at an early age, instead of at the graduate school level.

Anyway, you better not get me started. I may fill the SI servers on this subject and bore the Rambi faithful. :-)

Their full names are Joseph Juran, Kaoru Ishikawa, Genichi Taguchi,W. Edwards Deming, Michael Porter, Edgar Schein, Philip Crosby, Armond Figebaum, Stephen Covey, and Peter Senge'.

Michael
