I have never been very good a buying puts. I always do better when I focus on a rising stock. When doing so, I find a conservative (not as risky) way to profit is by selling puts.

I have considered buying puts on AMZN but am just too apprehensive. There is no doubt that the stock is overpriced, but it was also overpriced 200 points ago. I would be out some money had I bought AMZN puts last Monday. At some point, though, buying AMZN puts will just be too compelling.

Good luck.
