Tony, re: Retirement & "it can be days or months of utter boredom interrupted by minutes of sheer terror" We used to refer to a job I had MANY years ago the same way: ICBM missile launch officer! To those contemplating early retirement: I highly recommend it if finances allow. I "retired" 5 months ago at age 46 and haven't looked back (thank you INTC!) It is time to do things my way on my own schedule. I agree with other posts ... if there is doubt about the ability to retire, the time probably isn't right yet. Greg.
