Glad to see you can come up for air every now and then. Dont like the sound of the Vandyland launch. We have not had much luck with trailblazing launch environments. DeltaIII was 'just a modification of Delta II flight dynamics' and look where that ended up. Oh well smarter men than I...

Better get some rest while you can, things look busy from here on out, but then again, I was saying that this time last year too. Deja Vu all over again!

I watched the second G* launch last April from Jetty Park in Cape Canaveral, and recall that they launched east over the water, then did a sharp left dog leg turn. This was described in the launch commentary, and was very visible by the bend in the exhaust trail. What would be different about the dog leg turn from Vandenberg ? Would it be much larger ?
