OK, TopFuel...you have exposed the long-suffering Madera management yet once again...but that change in stock ownership came between July 1997 and March 1998. What has that got to do with now?

If you go to quote.yahoo.com and look for an "insider" button, there isn't one. There is an SEC button, a news button, oh, a profile button (how many OTC:BB stocks have that? WHAT PERCENTAGE?) but no insider button, because there has been no insiders selling in the past year.

Look at the insider log for Cendant (CD) this year if you want to see some contrast.

Plus if you go back in TIME WOOD once had a book value over $1 but through share
dilution the book value has dropped so .50 is not as good as you think if further shares
are issued then Book Value becomes less. Now Maybe you see why I invest by price
to earnings ratios

Are you saying that price to earnings ratio isn't affected by dilution? How so?

Book value gives you some idea how much shareholders would get if the entire company was liquidated. Many stocks sell for multiples of book value, so P/E is (usually) a pretty good indicator of value above book. However, when a stock trades at LESS than book value, it should be a bargain, sometimes even without earnings.

BTW, I appreciate your challenging questions.
