I agree with you Michael. I have invested in small stocks for many
many years and I don't recall any of them locking in the specific
date of earnings release until a few days prior. Did have one co.
that almost always released on the same date each qtr but they still
didn't promise that, only announced it a few days before each time.

Large companies, that have many analysts, are different, they do tend
to lock in the date and the time of day.
