One of the best winter time lakes in North Texas for Bass, large and smallmouth is the Squaw Creek Reservoir at the Commanche Peak Nuke plant. It's pretty strange cruising the lake alongside the reactors and Cooling towers. I haven't found any fish with three eyes or legs yet but they do kick you out at 6pm. I think the fish glow in the dark and they'd be too easy to find. <g> I don't eat these fish but there's a lot of folks keeping crappie and catfish, no thanks.
