Actually, I came to this thread because I already own TLC. I originally bought BROD (Broderbund), which was merged into TLC. Looking at the drop in both TLC and MAT, I was thinking that maybe this is a buying opportunity. But I am a bit nervous about buying more, since it seems that TLC has never been in a stable state long enough to see if its business model really works. There have been many acquisitions and mergers clouding the picture, and TLC has been under some scrutiny due to the resultant write-offs and the options held by various parties.
