I second too. My wife and me drank a bottle of Cloudy Bay a few years ago and we still have a vivid memory of this wine's splendid bouquet.

It was certainly a great experience, almost up to par as my first glass of Meursault, but not quite there yet...

BTW, speaking about the Meursault, do you know that the Frenchs have a proverb about this monumental Chardonnay. It goes like this:

"Qui boit du Meursault ni ne vit ni ne meurt sot."

The meaning would be "Who drinks Meursault neither live nor die idiot". Of course, in English the sentence does not rhyme, so the charm of those singing words are lost somehow...

Edwarda et al - Got back from a trip to New Zealand and Australia; tasted some nice wines in both countries. From New Zealand, enjoyed the Montana Vineyard's Chardonnay Gisbane 1998, and a very nice beaujolais. In Australia, enjoyed Three Rivers Vineyard's Chardonnay in Sydney.
