Yep, and we can do about as much on one as the other. Don't belittle night raids over Tokyo in B29's -- many did not come back. We had to capture Iwo Jima for emergency landings. More air crew were saved in a few months than were lost in that bloody landing. Of course, they were different people as required by the laws of history.
