I placed a limit order to buy at the then current ask of 1/8. I should have been filled immediately at 1/8, not put on hold while the market maker waits to see where the underlying stock price is headed.

I'm new to this board, and new to options trading. Can anyone suggest a good starter book on options trading (especially something that doesn't have a TA spin to it)?

Thanks very much,
