From the chart pattern, it looks to me (in my amateur opinion) that OS stocks are consolidating. The OSX 60 minute chart looks like it is forming a small triangle. I believe this is a continuation pattern, so the breakout should be to the upside. I'm not sure of the timing, though.

Anyone else have an opinion on the chart?

Uptcker, OSX is underperforming today, due mainly to selloff in DOW and anxiety over earnings reports(as seen from the light volume)....However, like OCT98, the OSX will take off as earnings are released and we could see over 70 points by late January....There is also the support from higher oil prices , like in Oct.
Note those who wanted to warn have already warned.

update, Oil succumbs to profit taking $13.56(though was $13.47 a few minuits ago) while the OSX still up 1.12 points.
