OK, that makes sense. It's a lot less desirable that way, but it sounds more realistic than being the Y2K solution provider.

So, the question I come back to is ... what is the name of their product? Where can we get a look at it? Is it generally available anywhere other than China? Having exclusive marketing rights is nice, but having exclusive marketing rights to a super product is even better. We can't make that determination if we don't know what it is they're selling.

You also made sense stating that GTCI is acting as the sales force for Veronex. It takes quite a bit of technical experience to walk into a mainframe site and "fix" their Y2K problems. The question now becomes ... is VXTK prepared to staff projects in China? Knowing what I do of their operation, I'd say no. They'll probably have to arrange with another service provider to do that.
