Here are MY favorite parts:

(This is from the CIBC Wood Gundy analysis of Barrick)

"Control of Veladero may be critical in order to advance Pascua."

"Without a production decision, Barrick could be forced to take a writedown of at least some of the carrying costs of Pascua, currently estimated at $900 million."

"This analysis implies that Barrick could pay up to C$5.75 per Argentina Gold share."

Many of us here have said that Barrick needs ARP - I guess we are not alone in our thinking. If Barrick wins control of ARP, Barrick will not mothball the place! Amable is the starter pit that Barrick has been looking for!

Remember, too, that these quotes are from a report published on Dec. 15 - the price for ARP is only going to rise with every successful drill hole from this point forward.
