GST,

I bet lots of people short amzn last week. I wouldn't
and probably never will, not against key players like
amzn, yhoo, ebay, and a few new companies like nsol,
cmgi, bcst, ... etc. think about it, these companies
already make their names as a house hold names. Remember
amgenm, biogen and a few others, they are the survivor of
the biotech run up during the 80's. And back then, only
big guys like institutional investors have access to the
lucrative stock markets. Nowaday, anyone with a modem
can be an expert at trading. This is the main reason I
won't short well known companies names. All the newbies
wants to get in and make quick money. they are the ones
driving up the market. I am not complain though. I am
just saying that shorting these well known companies will
get burn.

skym was an excellent short candidate b/c it shoot up so
high in a few days and nobody ever memtion about them no
more. Remember, net stocks movement are based on press
release. Well known companies like yhoo, amzn, ebay
almost always have something to tout the investors
about their potential revenue increase.

I like semi sector. :-)
