"as usual very nice job. I gather that you are discounting Job's 520,000 iMacs based the actual year end as opposed to MW announcement date. "

Actually I think Apple did ship 520k or more iMacs in Q1 99. I didn't change the estimate for a couple of reasons.
1) because 500K number is what I said both in the Nov MacWEEK article was well as the iMac Volume Projection article in Dec.
2) The 1.7 billion revenue projection was based on estimate of 20k G3 AIO. For all I know even this low number could have been too optimistic. I had a couple readers look into the EDU channel and at least 2 G3 AIO were "produced" in Q1 99. That why I believe some G3 AIO shipped this quarter even though it has been discontinued. Since I'm not too confident about the AIO projection I rather keep the iMac numbers conservative as a safety measure.

"Also I am always confused on this point. (This is for anybody) Are the EPS estimate numbers base on undiluted or diluted shares? I think its undiluted."

Both Basic and Diluted EPS figures are listed. The 82 cents figure is diluted earnings excluding one time gain from partial sales ARM shares.

On a related note... ARM share price has soared since Oct. Interesting how Apple's remaining asset in ARM is actually worth significantly higher than what it was BEFORE the Oct 14th sales transaction.
