To All - If you are a member of AAII (American Assoc. of Individual Investors), there is an excellent article about semiconductor equipment manufacturers in the latest issue of the AAII Journal. aaii.org If you aren't a member, it's worth the $49 in annual dues to be able to access this article on-line (and get future copies of the monthly AAII magazine). The article was written by Michael Murphy, and it concisely explains what drives the cycles of the industry and what factors are involved, plus how to determine value of stocks in the industry. Sorry, I can't copy it.

MSFT v.s. JMAR.
Microsoft is up 34% and JMAR only 1.5% since October 1st.

JMAR is in a strange position. For several years it's looked as though they would go somewhere and then, nothing.

Hmmmmm... here's to hoping 99 is JMAR's breakout year.
