GM and INTC got upgrades and higher price targets today..not sure about the others. dipsters are in there buying....

LT: well, it's stranger than that..I keep watching something like a parasitic growth of the NAS that eats on the rest of the money supply, the rest of the stock market. Like the brokerages are about to go under if they don't cought up money from somewhere to feed these beasts.

and all the trash that are either total jokes (EBAY, YHOO, AMZN) or have real problems (GM,G,INTC) are all on fire. looks like shorts have thrown in the towel.

Why shouldn't they? I'm surprised they didn't cover weeks ago, considering that a few of the above are reporting as soon as tomorrow. Holding through earnings can go 50-50; I've been screwed over with both short and long positions, even if the numbers went my way.

This is starting to look like old hat for the nutz. Big-time run-up before earnings, 20% correction, and then another run for the roses a few weeks before next quarter's numbers are out.
